Fault Finding
When something isn’t working as it should, it needs checking properly.
Electrical Fault Finding Across Dundee, Edinburgh & Aberdeen
I carry out electrical fault finding for homes, rental properties and businesses across Dundee, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
Electrical faults can show up in different ways, from circuits tripping to loss of power or intermittent problems. Fault finding involves carefully checking the electrical system to identify the cause of the issue, rather than guessing or replacing parts unnecessarily.
Once the problem is identified, I’ll explain what’s causing it and advise on the best way to put it right.

FAQ
How long does electrical work usually take?
This depends on the type of work and the condition of the existing electrics. Smaller jobs may be completed the same day, while larger or more involved work can take longer. I’ll always give you an idea of timescales before starting.
Will my power need to be switched off?
For some jobs, yes. If the power needs to be turned off, I’ll let you know in advance and keep disruption to a minimum.
Do you provide certification once the work is complete?
Yes. Where required, all work is tested and certified in line with current regulations, and paperwork is provided once the job is finished.
Do you carry out work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. I work with homeowners, landlords and commercial clients, carrying out both one-off jobs and ongoing electrical work.
